The Greater Liberton Heritage Project will be holding its next public meeting on Saturday 8 February 2020. The venue will be Anderson Hall, Liberton Kirk and the event runs from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. The theme of the meeting is Life, Death and Power and the programme (at the time of writing) is:

11:30-12:30: William Speirs Bruce: Antarctica to Liberton, Simon Bendle
12:30-1:15: Sandwich Lunch and Refreshments
1:15-2:00: Unleashed – a review of the Bairds of Newbyth 1660-1852, David Affleck
2:00-2:45: There’s been a Murder! Alison Macdonald
2:45-3:30: An Audience with Sir John Gilmour, David Ingram
