Starting at Morningside Cemetery

The Royal College of Nursing, Scotland is organising a guided walk to explore how local Edinburgh women served as nurses and in other roles in both world wars, and also to investigate the effects of the Spanish Flu pandemic immediately after the Great War. This event is part of the Royal College of Nursing’s current exhibition Pandemic! Nursing 100 years of infection series and is organised in conjunction with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

The walk runs from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday 4 May 2019 and starts at Morningside Cemetery. Participants should meet for a 2:00 pm start at the Morningside Drive entrance to the cemetery (EH10 5ND).
